To all those people who get all pissed at bands going mainstream, SHUT UP!

Examples:
- I personally had never heard of the bands Green Day or My Chemical Romance before they went really mainstream on the radio and MTV and the like. Well, I am currently LOVING these bands and going to an MCR concert on October 8th. People get all pissed at me and stuff because I only like the newer stuff by Green Day and I don't like the new MCR video for Ghost of You. Does it really matter what I like and what I don't like? What does it matter to you? Will you die if I have one more My Chemical Romance poster than you have, but you've been listening to them longer?

- You should be happy if a band you like goes mainstream! It means that they'll get more respect for their talent! Some untalented singers and bands DO go mainstream (not naming any). AND some divine singers and bands never go mainstream and don't get the recognition they deserve.

- I would appreciate it if I could listen to whatever kind of music I'd like to. I realize the some mainstream singers and bands are not as talented as some underground or not-as-famous-as-Green-Day stuff. BUT some mainstream stuff is extremely awesome (to me, anyway)

You should most definitely leave a comment with some of your favorite bands! Don't be ashamed for liking a certain band! You can listen to whatever you feel like!
